Presidents Thank You Letter 2019 /2020 Season

Swimming for Term 4 commences on back the morning of Tuesday the 8th of October. Anthony, Elly, Tracey an myself look forward to seeing everyone at the pool.

Please check the timetable as there have been some changes for the coming term.

Other things to take note of are

A booking system was introduced at the beginning of term 3 to allow us to plan and manage the number of swimmers better. Swimmers in all squads can attend as many times per week as they wish but a booking is required for Tiny Torpedoes and Little Legends squads for returning swimmers, these bookings can be made at the website:

Tiny Torpedoes 4.10 pm squad on Tuesday & Thursday is now fully booked.

Whether you are a returning member or a new member to wanting to join the club you will need to do this through the following Website: Please be aware that Swimming Australia has now ceased the Junior Dolphin Programme and as such 7 &under are no longer free.

For Club night nominations you will need to once again go online to Swim Central. If you have a current CYMS St Edmunds club membership you will be able to nominate.

Although there is no fee for nominations, the procedure requires you to enter a credit card number, but you will not be charged anything.

Any problems or concerns, please pm through the Facebook page.

For Target, Talent and those confident Little legend squad swimmers, we will be encouraging as many of you as possible to attend the ST PETERS WESTERN  meet to be held on the 26th of October. This meet is a well-run meet at a great facility and we would like to have big numbers attending this meet.

Little Legends and Tiny Torpedoes have two meets the first being the Western Aquatics transition meet to be held on 3rd November at West Moreton College the next meet is the Morningside Flyers meet on the 24th of November. This a great meet that been run for over 47 years. Both meets will suit swimmers who compete at club nights but are yet to give organised swim meets a go. Once again we will be encouraging as many swimmers to give these meets a try.

Teams for the Brisbane Relay champs will be selected after the 3rd club night. Last year we had nearly 50 swimmers represent the club. I hope we once again have as many swimmers making themselves available. This meet is on 17th November.

Both St Edmund’s Swim Centre and CYMS St Edmund’s use TEAM APP and Facebook for communication. Details regarding these and other information can be found at

The Colleges policy on payment is for Learn to swim classes to be paid prior to commencement and for squads, payment is to be made by the end of week two of the school term.

Thank You
